Healthy Behavior Charlie’s Dental Journey

This is the first in a series about healthy behavior for children, with a focus on dental health. Charlie has a toothache that leads to him getting the care he needs. Children don’t always let their parents know what’s going on when they are hurting. By not communicating his needs he doesn’t get the care he needs until his teacher and the school nurse intervene. Along the way, Charlie’s journey to dental health becomes a learning experience for everyone involved.
